My name is Jeffrey Spits, born in the north west of the Netherlands. I started windsurfing at the age of 10 at windsurf school leerwindsurfen.nl, and was instantly addicted.
My home spot is Amstelmeer. I think the best spot in the Netherlands, the wind is very constant, you have flat water and little chop good for all the freestyle moves.
In 2012 I got my windsurf instructor diploma and started working at the same place I started windsurfing. I worked there for 3 years. In 2015 wanted something different, something warmer, so I bought a plane ticket for the summer to Curacao and started working at Windsurfing Curacao, best time of my life!
Read More >In 2013 I became team rider of Avanti Sails and Kater Funsport, I loved the Avanti Echo ME from the beginning, my level went up and more constantly. Now every time I go sailing I am still surprised how light the sails are and how easy it response to my movements.
The feeling being on the water, if it is freestyling, slalom or stand-up paddle boarding. I JUST LOVE IT!
